Love Does

We fight for human rights, care for the vulnerable, and provide education in conflict zones. Love Does, founded by Bob Goff in 2002, currently works in 14 countries. We operate schools, safe houses, prison programs, women’s resource centers, and more. Locally in San Diego, we have a mobile food program, single mom program, and resettlement program. Learn more about each of these below!
Rooted in joy and whimsy, Love Does believes that small, consistent acts of kindness can change the world.

Single Mom Programs
The Love Does Single Moms Home offers a safe haven for single mothers and their children who are navigating difficult circumstances. This program provides stable housing, mentorship, and resources, empowering moms to pursue education, career goals, and independence. In addition, the Love Does Boutique is a resource center for single mothers in the San Diego area, offering them access to free clothing, shoes, jackets, and other essential items for themselves and their children. This boutique not only meets material needs but also provides a sense of dignity and care, helping moms feel supported as they navigate life's challenges. Your support will provide funding for life skills classes, supplies and clothing for the Love Does Home and Boutique.

Mobile Food Programs
The Love Does Mobile Food Pantry, launched in 2021, has provided over 175,000 meals to refugees, low-income families, single moms, unhoused individuals, and senior citizens across San Diego. This initiative ensures that struggling families and individuals have access to nutritious meals while fostering a sense of dignity and care. From delivering groceries to organizing community events, the food pantry is a tangible way to meet basic needs and support people in challenging times. Your giving will help those facing food insecurity to receive food on a weekly basis.

Resettlement Programs
The resettlement program supports refugees and single moms in San Diego by fully furnishing homes, providing food, and connecting them with local resources. More than just logistical aid, the program focuses on friendship and community-building, helping families feel welcomed and supported as they adjust to their new lives. Through these programs, we demonstrate our commitment to caring for the vulnerable, fostering stability, and offering hope in San Diego. Your contribution will help us provide furnishings and other necessities for single moms and refugees in San Diego that are able to secure housing for themselves and their families.
